The Simple Version

We collect your email and study data to make this app work. We don't sell your data. We don't spam you. We use Firebase (Google) to store everything securely. That's it.

What Data We Collect

• Account Info: Your email address and display name
• Study Progress: Quiz scores, flashcard activity, exam results, streaks
• Bookmarks: Questions and resources you save
• Analytics: Page views and general usage data (via Vercel Analytics)
• Cookies: Authentication tokens to keep you logged in

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the study app features (quizzes, flashcards, progress tracking)
• To save your progress and preferences
• To authenticate you when you log in
• To improve the app and understand how people use it
• That's literally it - we don't use it for anything else

Data Storage & Security

All your data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore (Google's cloud database). Firebase uses industry-standard encryption and security practices. Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text.

Do We Share Your Data?

Nope. Never.

We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only "sharing" is that your data is stored on Google's Firebase servers (which is necessary for the app to work).

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how people use the app (which pages are visited, how long people stay, etc.). This helps us make the app better. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly and doesn't use cookies or track personal information.

AI Chat Tutor & Data Monitoring

Our AI Chat Tutor uses Google Vertex AI Agent Engine to provide personalized study assistance. Here's what you need to know:

• Storage: All AI chat conversations are stored in Google Cloud (Vertex AI), not in our database
• Purpose: We use chat data to improve the AI tutor and provide better study assistance
• Quality Monitoring: Admin staff may review anonymized chat conversations for quality assurance, safety, and improvement purposes
• Privacy: Chat reviews are conducted with your user ID masked where possible, but may include your questions and the AI's responses
• Your Control: You can export your chat history anytime from the AI Chat interface, and all chat data is deleted when you delete your account

Important: By using the AI Chat Tutor, you consent to chat monitoring for quality, safety, and improvement purposes. Do not share sensitive personal information in AI chat conversations.

Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data in the app
• Update: Change your profile info in Settings
• Delete: Delete your account anytime from Settings > Delete Account
• Export: Export all your data (including AI chat history) before account deletion

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). That's it. No tracking cookies, no ad cookies, no weird third-party cookies.

Children's Privacy

This app is for professional exam prep and not intended for children under 13. If you're under 13, please don't use this app.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
